Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field from a well-reputed institution.
We are looking for a Senior SQA Engineer with strong experience in functional testing, test automation, API testing, performance testing, and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently leading QA activities, working directly with clients, and driving quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
The candidate should have hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, and/or Playwright, along with a strong understanding of CRM/ERP systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and UiPath/RPA will be considered a plus.
The role also requires an innovation-oriented mindset, with the ability and willingness to leverage AI and modern automation techniques to improve QA efficiency, coverage, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead QA activities independently across projects with minimal supervision.
- Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, test cases, and risk-based testing approaches.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Perform comprehensive API and integration testing using tools such as Postman/Swagger.
- Plan and execute performance, load, and stress testing using tools such as JMeter, k6, or equivalent.
- Test complex CRM, ERP, and enterprise business processes and integrations.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects and contribute to root-cause analysis.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and follow modern QA engineering practices.
- Work closely with developers, BAs, PMs, product owners, and clients to identify and resolve quality risks.
- Act as the QA point of contact for assigned projects and provide clear status, risk, and quality reporting.
- Mentor junior/mid-level QA engineers and contribute to improving team practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve testing through automation, AI, and emerging QA technologies.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5–8 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
- Strong understanding of QA processes, methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and industry best practices.
- Solid functional testing and business-process understanding.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, and/or Playwright.
- Mandatory experience in API testing and performance testing.
- Experience testing CRM and ERP applications.
- Good programming/scripting knowledge in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or C#.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, and defect/test management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to take ownership and lead QA activities with little or no supervision.
- Ability to mentor team members and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Strong interest in AI-assisted testing, automation, and continuous improvement.
