Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Engineer to lead the quality assurance team and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and enforcing QA standards, mentoring team members, and coordinating testing efforts across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor QA engineers to build a high-performing QA team
• Design, implement, and maintain test strategies, plans, and cases
• Oversee manual and automated testing across all stages of the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to
  ensure quality at every phase
• Manage and maintain test environments and test data
• Identify, track, and report bugs and quality issues
• Drive test automation efforts and CI/CD integration
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
• Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
• Perform root cause analysis of issues and recommend product improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in software testing and QA, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior role
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• ISTQB or other QA certification
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience with performance, security, and API testing tools (e.g., JMeter,
  Postman)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
