Job summary

PTCL Group is seeking a technically skilled professional to oversee the operation and maintenance of DRS network infrastructure, including power systems, towers, and solar installations. You will monitor fuel and CP usage, coordinate maintenance teams, and ensure timely fault rectification to keep services provisioning for CMO/Ufone reliable.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom and PEC registration is a plus, with 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Engineering in Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, or Communications.
• PEC registration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of DRS network infrastructure, including DG sets, rectifiers, batteries, AC units, transformers, and earthing systems.
• Manage DRS repeaters, towers, and solar power plants.
• Monitor monthly fuel consumption and CP usage data.
• Coordinate maintenance teams for fault identification and rectification.
• Perform preventive maintenance of DRS network equipment and infrastructure.
• Ensure provisioning of services over DRS for CMO/Ufone and reliable network availability.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of DRS Network infrastructure, including DG sets, rectifiers, batteries, AC units, transformers, AC/DC earthing systems, repeaters, towers, and solar power plants. The incumbent will monitor monthly fuel consumption and CP usage, ensure preventive maintenance and timely fault rectification, and coordinate the mobilization of maintenance teams in case of network faults. The role will also be responsible for the provisioning of services over DRS for CMO/Ufone and ensuring reliable network availability.

HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT:

• Manage the O&M of DRS Network infrastructure, including DG sets, rectifiers, batteries, AC units, transformers, and AC/DC earthing systems.
• Manage the O&M of DRS repeaters, towers, and solar power plants.
• Monitor and maintain monthly fuel consumption and CP usage data.
• Ensure timely mobilization of maintenance teams for fault identification and rectification.
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMR) of DRS Network equipment and infrastructure.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Qualification:

Education:

• Bachelor's of Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Telecom, communication etc)
• Candidate registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is a plus.

Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience is required.

Technical Competency:

• Knowledge of reading of Drawing
• Testing of optical fiber cable
• Understanding of Pin to Port Plan of FDH
• Knowledge of Access network
• Knowledge of IP network
