Job summary

ICE Consulting is seeking a Desktop Technician/Junior Systems Administrator to support a diverse user base of 700+ staff. Based at our Lahore office, you will diagnose hardware and software issues, maintain inventories, assist with network security, and support Gmail and Office 365 environments.

The role requires handling Windows and MacBook systems, providing Level 1–3 helpdesk, and keeping documentation concise and organized.

Qualifications

Minimum 4 years hands-on experience in a relevant position.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Proficient in providing support for MacBook systems.
Strong knowledge of Windows 7 and newer.
Experience with mobile device support.
Solid background in desktop support and customer service.
Familiarity with MDM solutions such as Workspace ONE or Mas360.
Experience with SSO and MFA tools like Okta or OneLogin.
Experience with Windows Server 2008 and newer.
Experience with hosted services including Gmail and Office 365.
Knowledge of security software such as Symantec and ESET Antivirus.
Experience with printing services and management.
Familiarity with Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
Experience with VERITAS Backup Exec for data backup.
Knowledge of hosted VoIP providers like RingCentral or Vonage.
Ability to produce clear, concise, and well-organized documentation.

Responsibilities

Establish, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade hardware and computer systems.
Provide tech support for clients' networks and ensure robust network security.
Communicate with colleagues via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
Keep track of software and equipment inventories and document configurations.
