Job summary

HugoBank seeks a seasoned executive to lead its Cards and Payments domain across Retail and Merchant segments. You will own the end-to-end strategy, product roadmaps, and collaboration with technology, risk, and finance to deliver unified rail capabilities and seamless customer experiences.

You will manage vendor relationships with card schemes and payment infra providers, drive growth in QR and instant-payments, and ensure regulatory compliance while optimizing P&L performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Cards, Payments, or Digital Banking.
• Strong track record in building and scaling cards and payments portfolios.
• Experience owning end-to-end product and P&L accountability, from strategy through GTM and optimization.
• Exposure to SBP regulatory frameworks governing cards and payments.

Responsibilities

• Set end-to-end strategy for HugoBank’s Cards and Payments domain across Retail and Merchant segments.
• Define differentiated value propositions for consumer and merchant clients and lead market benchmarking.
• Own consolidated roadmaps and ensure a unified rail and infrastructure strategy.
• Oversee vendor/processor relationships for issuance, tokenization, and payment infra.
• Lead governance and risk compliance across domains and regulatory submissions.
