Hugo Bank is seeking a Reconciliation & Settlement Officer to manage end-to-end transaction matching, net position calculations, and GL postings across digital payment channels in Karachi. The role enforces SBP compliance and zero settlement variance.

Responsibilities include data validation across platforms, handling exceptions, preparing settlement summaries, and coordinating with Treasury, Technology, and external networks like 1Link and Visa.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related field.
• 2–5 years in payment operations, reconciliation, or settlement.
• Strong Excel/Sheets data manipulation and reporting skills.

Responsabilités

• Transaction Reconciliation & Data Validation: reconcile across digital channels and validate data.
• Exception Management & Discrepancy Resolution: identify and track exceptions and resolve discrepancies.
• Net Settlement & GL Posting: prepare net settlement summaries and GL entries with zero variance.
• Regulatory Reporting & Audit Preparedness: submit SBP regulatory and settlement reports accurately.
• Stakeholder Coordination: liaise with Technology and Finance teams and external networks.
