Job summary

Gold Lion Financials Private Limited in Pakistan seeks a proactive Business Development professional to cultivate relationships across fintech, digital payments, telecom, banking, and consumer finance sectors. You will build industry networks and coordinate with internal teams to drive partnerships and growth.

You will establish ties with digital wallet providers, identify strategic opportunities, negotiate terms, and monitor sector developments to provide insights for leadership.

Qualifications

• Pakistani with strong knowledge of the local business environment.
• Experience in fintech, digital payments, related industries.
• Long-term experience with Easypaisa or JazzCash preferred, esp. in Operations, BI, Business Development, or core functions.
• Sales or Business Development experience is preferred.
• Relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Existing networks in Pakistan fintech/payments/telecom/financial services would be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of local business practices and the operational environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English and Urdu.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across Pakistan’s fintech, digital payments, telecommunications, banking, and consumer finance sectors.
• Build and leverage industry networks to support business development, partnerships, and day-to-day operations.
• Establish effective working relationships with digital wallet and mobile financial service providers.
• Identify potential business opportunities and support partnership discussions, negotiations, and implementation.
• Work with internal teams to understand operational requirements and coordinate with external partners.
• Leverage market knowledge and industry relationships to resolve operational and business issues efficiently.
• Monitor developments in Pakistan’s fintech and payments sectors and provide market insights.
• Support other business development and strategic initiatives as required.

• Build and leverage industry networks to support business development, strategic partnerships, and day-to-day business operations.
• Establish effective working relationships with key industry players, particularly digital wallet and mobile financial service providers.
• Identify potential business opportunities and strategic partners, and support partnership discussions, negotiations, and implementation.
• Work closely with internal teams to understand operational requirements and facilitate communication and coordination with external partners.
• Leverage market knowledge and industry relationships to help resolve operational and business issues efficiently.
• Monitor developments in Pakistan’s fintech, telecommunications, digital banking, and lending sectors and provide relevant market and competitive insights.
• Support other business development and strategic initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Pakistani with strong knowledge of the local business environment.
• Relevant professional experience in fintech, digital payments, related industries.
• Highly preferred: Long-term working experience with Easypaisa or JazzCash, particularly within Operations, Business Intelligence, Business Development, or other core business functions.
• previous Sales or Business Development experience is preferred.
• relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key industry contacts.
• Existing professional networks within Pakistan’s fintech, payments, telecommunications, or financial services ecosystem would be a strong advantage.

• Fluent in both English and Urdu.

Preferred Profile

The ideal candidate has either deep operational experience and an established

professional network within Easypaisa/JazzCash, or a strong track record in

business development, sales, partnerships, and relationship management within

Pakistan’s telecommunications or financial services ecosystem.
