Job summary

KnowledgeCity is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to own the full email program from strategy to optimization. You will plan campaigns, write compelling copy, and guide design.

You will set up infrastructure, automate nurture journeys, and collaborate with Demand Gen, Content, Design, and Sales to turn email engagement into qualified pipeline. The role requires hands-on experience with email platforms, marketing automation, and CRM reporting, plus a strong focus on deliverability, testing,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in B2B email marketing or lifecycle marketing.
• Proven ability to generate MQLs, SQLs and sales pipeline.
• Strong copywriting and editing for conversion.
• Hands-on with marketing automation platforms and CRM tracking.
• Experience setting up email infrastructure including DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC.
• Familiar with deliverability, list hygiene, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own email marketing strategy, calendar, and execution plans for demand gen and campaigns.
• Develop campaign plans with objectives, audience, offer, message, cadence, and path.
• Write persuasive email copy including subject lines, proofs, CTAs, and nurture sequences.
• Create automated nurture programs moving prospects through lifecycle stages.
• Segment audiences by persona, industry, region, and lifecycle stage.
• Provide creative briefs and direction for email layouts and visuals.
• Review designs for brand, clarity, accessibility, and conversion focus.
• Set up and maintain email infrastructure, DNS, domains, and sender identities.
• Integrate email platform with CRM, forms, landing pages, and analytics.
• Build, schedule, and launch campaigns with personalization and tracking.
• Plan and run A/B tests on subject lines, copy, design, and timing.
• Track deliverability, engagement, leads, MQLs, SQLs, and pipeline.
• Create weekly/monthly reports and actionable optimization insights.
• Collaborate with Revenue Ops and Sales on lead scoring and attribution.
• Maintain list hygiene, domain warm-up, and compliance with CAN-SPAM.
• Document processes, tests, and best practices for scaling programs.
