Job summary

NorthBay - Pakistan is looking for an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer (L1/L2) to provide operational support for cloud-hosted environments. This role involves ensuring high availability of AWS infrastructure and supporting multiple clients.

The ideal candidate should have 2–4 years of experience, strong knowledge of AWS core services, and the ability to work in 24x7 rotational shifts. Key tasks include monitoring, incident resolution, and collaboration with DevOps teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure support (L1/L2 roles).
• Strong understanding of AWS core services.
• Experience with monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor AWS cloud infrastructure using monitoring tools.
• Perform initial triage and categorize incidents.
• Execute predefined runbooks and operational playbooks.

Skills

AWS core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS)

Monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Nagios)

Linux/Unix systems administration

Basic scripting knowledge (Shell / Python)

ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira)

Networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, Load Balancing)
