Job summary

Deliveryhero seeks an Operations Manager to own end-to-end performance of a cluster of dark stores in Islamabad, driving order fulfillment speed, inventory accuracy, and customer experience. You will steward P&L, oversee daily operations across Mart and Franchise formats, and enforce SOPs to meet KPI targets.

You will lead Store Managers and staff, conduct regular performance reviews, manage scheduling, and ensure food safety and regulatory compliance across all locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in operations, preferably in quick commerce, dark stores, cloud kitchens, or retail/QSR chains.
• Experience with quick commerce fulfillment metrics (OFT, nSFR, shrinkage) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end performance of a cluster of dark stores, driving order fulfillment speed, customer experience, and inventory accuracy.
• Oversee daily operations of all dark stores in the cluster across Mart and Franchise formats.
• Own P&L for the cluster and manage store operating costs, inventory, and wastage.
• Drive Order Fulfillment Time (OFT) performance to deliver superior customer experience.
• Ensure order accuracy and completion through staff training and SOP compliance.
• Manage inventory health by enforcing FEFO/FIFO, expiry management, and damage control.
• Ensure stores meet hygiene, food safety, and SOP compliance per policy.
• Lead, train, and motivate Store Managers and floor staff to hit KPIs.
• Conduct performance reviews linked to KPI scorecards and provide data-grounded feedback.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and discipline across all cluster stores.
• Ensure adherence to safety, audits, and regulatory standards; maintain records.
• Support cross-functional collaboration between store teams, commercial, and supply chain.

Role Overview

Own end-to-end performance of a cluster of dark stores within the assigned area, driving order fulfillment speed, customer experience, and inventory accuracy in line with network-wide KPI targets. Act as the operational owner between store-level teams and commercial & supply-chain.

Operational Management

Oversee daily operations of all dark stores in the assigned cluster, across both Mart and Franchise formats, ensuring performance is tracked against set KPIs.

Own P&L for the cluster: control store operating costs, reduce inventory holding and wastage

Drive Order Fulfillment Time (OFT) performance for the cluster, to deliver superior customer experience.

Ensure order accuracy and completion through staff training, and picking/packing SOP compliance.

Manage inventory health by ensuring store managers follow inventory principles strictly (FEFO/FIFO, Expiry Management, Damage control)

Ensure all stores meet hygiene, food safety, and operational SOP compliance as per company policy.

Team Leadership & People Management

Lead, train, and motivate Store Managers and floor staff across the cluster to hit performance standards.

Conduct regular performance reviews tied to store-level KPI scorecards, with specific, data-grounded feedback.

Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and discipline across all stores in the cluster.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and local regulatory standards across all stores.

Conduct regular store audits covering safety, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance; maintain audit and compliance records.

Ensure fire safety and emergency procedures are documented and staff are trained.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.

4-6 years of experience in operations, preferably in quick commerce, dark stores, cloud kitchens, or retail/QSR chains.

Working knowledge of quick commerce fulfillment metrics (OFT, nSFR, shrinkage) is a strong plus.

Experience managing multiple locations, cross-functional teams, and Direct/Franchise stores or mixed-format networks.
