Job summary

foodpanda is seeking an on-site manager to oversee a 24-hour dark store and coordinate end-to-end warehouse processes in Lahore, Pakistan. The role requires a minimum daily on-site presence (6–8 hours) with continued virtual coordination.

Responsibilities include steering operations to SLAs/KPIs, implementing process improvements, managing safety procedures, resource scheduling, and stock integrity through regular audits and coordination with the commercial team.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or dark-store operations.
• Strong coordination and scheduling skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Lahore, Pakistan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a 24-hour operational dark store on-site with a minimum 6–8 hours presence daily and virtual coordination beyond hours.
• Coordinate end-to-end warehouse processes from inbound to stock handling, storing, and dispatching.
• Drive warehouse operations to meet defined SLAs and KPIs.
• Proactively set and implement operational goals and process improvements.
• Manage Workplace Safety & Health procedures to ensure regulatory compliance through regular risk assessments.
• Allocate resources to maximize efficiency and optimize scheduling.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to manage fast/slow-moving lines, spoilages, returns, damaged and expired goods.
• Conduct periodic stock takes and ensure accurate recording; monitor stock variances.
