Universal Robina Corporation-Sugar and Renewables is looking for a Planter Partnership Specialist.
The Planter Partnership Specialist will closely partner with the Planter Partnership Manager in fostering relationships with planters to ensure a consistent sugarcane supply and achieve production targets. This role supports operational tasks, compliance monitoring, and planter engagement while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain supply consistency and drive operational efficiency.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
- Partnership Support and Development:
- Acquire new planters to increase cane supply and diversify the planter base for the assigned mill site.
- Onboard new planters to ensure smooth integration and alignment with operational goals.
- Act as a key point of contact for planters, addressing day-to-day concerns and providing timely support.
- Performance Monitoring and Compliance:
- Monitor planter adherence to quality standards and operational agreements.
- Support the implementation of performance reviews and provide input for improvement initiatives.
- Operational Assistance:
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Operations, Finance, and Treasury, to align planter activities with mill site objectives.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of planter contracts and related documentation.
- Reporting and Data Management:
- Compile data on planter performance, tonnage supplied, and delivery schedules for the Planter Partnership Manager.
- Assist in generating actionable insights to enhance planter engagement and operational efficiency.
- Training and Continuous Improvement:
- Support the facilitation of training programs to promote planter adoption of best practices and sustainable farming techniques.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and collaborate on solutions to optimize planter relationships.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Maintain positive relationships with planters and external stakeholders to foster trust and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address challenges and drive operational success.
What are the Qualifications?
- Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certifications in Supply Chain Management or Agricultural Business preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in agricultural operations, customer relationship management, or supply chain roles.
- Proven ability to manage day-to-day operations and engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to monitor and support planter performance effectively.
- Proficiency in contract management and compliance standards.
- Behavioral Attributes:
