Job summary

NAIS CORP in Pasig is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records under Australian standards, reconcile accounts, and support BAS, GST, PAYG processes using Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks. You will handle payroll compliance and liaise with external accountants.

The role requires at least 2 years bookkeeping experience, strong accuracy, and ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar bookkeeping/Accounting role.
• Proficiency in Xero.
• Sound knowledge of Australian taxation, superannuation, and payroll legislation.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements
• Assist with BAS preparation
• Process payroll in compliance with Fair Work and ATO requirements
• Maintain employee records including superannuation and leave entitlements
• Assist with end-of-month and end-of-year financial reporting
• Liaise with external accountants and auditors as required
• Ensure compliance with ATO regulations, including GST and PAYG withholding
• Manage petty cash and company credit cards
• Monitor email inboxes for clients
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and/or tasks as needed
