Job summary

obs in the Philippines is seeking a skilled bookkeeper to manage day-to-day accounting functions in line with Australian standards. You will handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and financial reporting, liaising with management and external accountants.

This role requires strong Xero experience, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with BAS/IAS is preferred, and familiarity with cloud-based systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• A higher education degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Australian bookkeeping or accounting support.
• Strong experience using Xero is essential; MYOB/QuickBooks Online desirable.
• Experience with Australian payroll, BAS and IAS compliance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping: AP/AR, bank reconciliations, payroll processing.
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support month-end processes and budgeting/forecasting activities.
• Maintain accounting systems (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online) and documentation.
• Coordinate with external accountants, payroll providers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and regulations.
