Job summary

NAIS CORP is seeking an experienced, reliable Senior Bookkeeper / Accountant for a full-time permanent work-from-home role. You will support Australian clients with day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, reconciliations, and recurring accounting workflows.

The role requires strong Australian bookkeeping knowledge, GST and BAS familiarity, and hands-on use of Xero, MYOB, Dext, and other accounting platforms. You will work independently, manage deadlines, and provide clear daily progress updates.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Xero.

Responsibilities

• Process bookkeeping transactions using Xero and MYOB Business.
• Manage Dext invoices, receipts, and documents.
• Perform bank, credit card, payroll clearing, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Complete monthly, recurring, and ad hoc bookkeeping tasks on deadlines.
• Maintain workflow tasks and priorities.
