Job summary

Staff X seeks a mid-level bookkeeper to own a dedicated client portfolio and manage full-cycle bookkeeping for Australian clients from the Philippines. You will handle IAS/BAS, bank reconciliations, payroll processing, and data consolidation across multiple engagements with strict deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Xero/XPM experience in an Australian context, strong English communication, and a disciplined, time-aware work style aligned to Australian hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience with Xero and XPM in Australian accounting contexts.
• Proven ability to prepare and lodge IAS/BAS with GST and payroll understanding.
• Proficient in FYI Docs and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review IAS and BAS across a large client portfolio each cycle.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations with accuracy.
• Process payroll for clients per Australian requirements.
• Consolidate and enter data across client files to maintain clean records.
• Identify missing information and follow up with clients to meet deadlines.
• Respond to client requests promptly and professionally.
• Record time against client engagements using XPM and FYI Docs.
