Valenzuela Trabaho is seeking a warranty claims processor with a Mechanical Engineering background to manage initial claims, match products and serial data, and assess warranty eligibility. The role involves reviewing technician notes and photos to identify root causes, and coordinating approvals for high-cost repairs before work begins.

It requires understanding of warranty terms and proof-of-purchase transferability.

Responsabilidades

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer course.
• Logs the initial customer claim by matching it to the specific product, serial number, and purchase data.
• Check whether the defect occurred within the defined warranty period and complies with the warranty terms and conditions.
• Confirm the proof of purchase and determine whether the customer is the original owner or whether the warranty is transferable.
• Reviews the technician's notes, diagnostic test result and photos to determine the root cause of the failure.
• For complex repairs with a high cost of repair, the processor shall approve the labor provision and parts requisitions before the work starts.
• Identifies whether the damage is due to a manufacturing defect (covered under warranty) or is caused by customer misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear.
• Calculates the reimbursement breakdown for parts, labor, and shipping costs based on the provider's flat-rate manual or the applicable warranty reimbursement guidelines and standards.
