Job Summary
TheClaims and Warranty Officer is responsible for managing and processing warranty claims and service-related concerns for vehicles. This role ensures that all claims are properly documented, verified, and submitted in accordance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines. The position also coordinates with service teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve warranty-related issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and monitor vehicle warranty claims in accordance with company and manufacturer policies.
- Review service reports and verify warranty eligibility for parts and repairs.
- Prepare and submit warranty claim documentation to suppliers, manufacturers, or partner companies.
- Coordinate with the service department, technicians, and parts team to ensure accurate claim processing.
- Maintain organized records of warranty claims, supporting documents, and approvals.
- Track the status of submitted claims and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist customers with inquiries related to warranty coverage and claims procedures.
- Analyze warranty claims data and prepare reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, warranty procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce warranty claims and improve service quality.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 1–3 years of experience in warranty processing, claims handling, or service administration, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of vehicle parts, service procedures, and warranty policies is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and database systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
