Responsibilities

About the role

LEC STEEL MANUFACTURING CORP. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to join our operations team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining safety and quality standards. This position is integral to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to deliver products to our customers on time and in excellent condition.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of materials and finished goods
• Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity targets are met and maintaining morale
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and minimise discrepancies
• Implement and enforce warehouse safety protocols, health and safety regulations, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment
• Optimise warehouse layout and storage systems to improve efficiency and accessibility
• Liaise with other departments including logistics, sales and production to ensure seamless operations
• Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities, including shipments, receipts and inventory movements
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction within warehouse operations
• Train warehouse staff on proper handling procedures, equipment operation and safety standards
• Report on warehouse performance metrics and prepare regular updates for management

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or supervision within manufacturing or distribution environments
• Proven ability to manage and supervise a team effectively, with strong leadership and communication skills
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems and material handling procedures
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and compliance requirements
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Physical capability to perform warehouse duties and ability to work in a warehouse setting
• Knowledge of steel manufacturing or heavy materials handling is advantageous
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to occasionally operate warehouse equipment are preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive operational improvements
