Job summary

LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. in Quezon City is seeking a Warehouse Deputy Head to supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy and uphold safety and quality standards.

You will lead a team of staff, collaborate with sales, logistics and production, and implement efficient processes to deliver products on time. The role requires 3–5 years in warehousing with at least 2 years in supervision, strong knowledge of WMS, planning, budgeting and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of at least 3-5 years in a warehouse or distribution centre, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems and logistics processes.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software applications.
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong leadership abilities and experience in team supervision and staff development.
• Sound understanding of health, safety and environmental regulations relevant to warehousing.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality and accuracy standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing operational demands.
• Preferably with experience in steel manufacturing or heavy goods warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Head in planning and implementing warehouse operations strategies.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate stock control procedures to maintain accuracy and minimise discrepancies.
• Supervise and motivate warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
• Monitor warehouse equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimise downtime.
• Prepare and analyse warehouse performance reports and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct regular audits of warehouse processes and recommend improvements for efficiency.
• Liaise with sales, logistics and production teams to ensure seamless coordination.
• Manage warehouse budgets and control operational costs effectively.
• Implement and maintain quality control standards for stored materials and finished products.

About the role

LEC Steel Manufacturing Corp. is seeking a talented and experienced Warehouse Deputy Head to join our dynamic warehousing and distribution operations team. This is a full-time position based in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

As Warehouse Deputy Head, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Warehouse and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and leading a team of warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.
