Job summary

Pilmico, part of the Aboitiz Foods family, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Finished Goods Warehouse to manage receipt, storage, and release of products. You will ensure accurate documentation, QA disposition alignment, and timely stock reports.

Responsibilities include maintaining FEFO/FIFO inventory, coordinating with QA and production, and upholding HACCP, GMP, and GWP standards through accurate data in SAP and regular audits.

Responsibilities

• Receive finished products from production, ensuring proper documentation, handling, and accurate inventory recording.
• Verify the quality and quantity of received goods, coordinating with production and QA teams to address any discrepancies or issues.
• Organize and store finished products in designated warehouse areas following FEFO (First Expired, First Out) and FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory principles.
• Monitor QA dispositions on finished goods to determine which items are cleared for release and which are on hold for further review or corrective action.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in SAP, updating the status of all finished goods based on QA reports.
• Prepare and release a daily or periodic report detailing inventories cleared for release and on-hold items.
• Conduct physical inventory counts regularly, reconciling with system records to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to prioritize the release of cleared finished goods for timely delivery to customers.
• Act as the point of contact between QA, production, and logistics teams regarding finished goods inventory.
• Participate in 5S activities to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.
• Assist in audits to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards.
• Prepare for and submit regular reports on inventory levels, QA dispositions, and warehouse operations.

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate for the Finished Goods (FG) Warehouse is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and release of finished products from production. This role ensures proper inventory management, compliance with quality assurance (QA) dispositions, and timely reporting of stock availability.

This role also oversees the status of products, identifying which inventories are cleared for release and which are on hold, ensuring efficient warehouse operations while maintaining compliance with company policies and standards.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Finished Goods Receiving and Storage

• Receive finished products from production, ensuring proper documentation, handling, and accurate inventory recording


• Verify the quality and quantity of received goods, coordinating with production and QA teams to address any discrepancies or issues

Inventory Monitoring and QA Disposition

• Monitor QA dispositions on finished goods to determine which items are cleared for release and which are on hold for further review or corrective action

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards, including HACCP, GMP, and GWP, in all warehouse activities


• Inspect the storage conditions of finished goods, addressing any issues related to safety, cleanliness, or product integrity


• Collaborate with QA and production teams to resolve any quality-related concerns promptly

Communication and Coordination

• Coordinate with the dispatch team to prioritize the release of cleared finished goods for timely delivery to customers


• Act as the point of contact between QA, production, and logistics teams regarding finished goods inventory

Engagement in Continuous Improvement and Safety

• Participate in innovation programs to improve warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and overall efficiency


• Support and actively engage in 5S activities to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient work environment.


• Contribute to workplace safety initiatives, ensuring adherence to protocols and participating in safety training sessions


• Assist in preparing for and participating in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with operational and regulatory standards

Operational Support and Reporting

• Prepare and submit regular reports on inventory levels, QA dispositions, and warehouse operations to relevant departments


• Identify inefficiencies in processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs


• Performs other related tasks as may be assigned by the Team Leader

FOOD SAFETY:

• Ensures execution of quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations within the team.


• Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.

OTHER TASKS:

• Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.


• Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Experience:

• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management; experience in a feedmill or manufacturing environment is a plus


• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and GWP standards is highly desirable


• Knowledge of 5S methodology and safety protocols

Other Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of google sheet, docs and other office applications; advanced spreadsheet skills are a plus
