Job Summary

The Inventory & Procurement Control Associate is responsible for monitoring and validating inventory and procurement activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established processes.

The role supports HQ Operations by providing visibility and control over stock movements, procurement transactions, and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

A. Inventory Control

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels across all locations.
• Perform regular cycle counts and reconciliations to ensure alignment between physical stock and system records.
• Identify, investigate, and report inventory discrepancies, including variances and stock issues.
• Track and manage expiry, damaged, slow-moving, and adjusted inventory.
• Ensure proper documentation of all stock movements, including receiving, transfers, dispatch, and adjustments.
• Support implementation and adherence to inventory control procedures and standards.
• Coordinate with warehouse and Operations teams to resolve inventory-related issues and discrepancies.

B. Procurement Control

• Track purchase requests and purchase orders.
• Validate received items against purchase orders.
• Ensure completeness of procurement documentation.
• Monitor procurement cycle timelines.
• Flag discrepancies between ordered and received items.

C. Data & Reporting

• Maintain inventory and procurement trackers.
• Generate reports on stock levels, variances, and procurement status.
• Support HQ Operations in data validation and audit activities.

D. Compliance & Process Support

• Ensure adherence to inventory and procurement SOPs.
• Support audits related to inventory and procurement.
• Identify process gaps and elevate issues to the appropriate personnel.
• And any duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 1-3+ years of experience in inventory, procurement, or warehouse operations.
• Experience in tracking, reconciliation, or reporting.

Preferred

• Experience in retail, pharmacy, FMCG, or logistics.
• Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP.
