PRINCIPAL / JOB PURPOSE
Logistics & Inventory Staff is responsible for coordinating warehouse inventory and logistics activities and ensuring the accurate recording and movement of materials and finished goods. The position handles warehouse transactions, inventory monitoring, shipment coordination, documentation, and ERP/WMS updates to ensure accurate and timely warehouse and logistics operations.
Process and record receiving, issuance, transfer, return, and dispatch transactions in the ERP/WMS.
Ensure physical warehouse movements are properly recorded in the system.
Check item codes, quantities, units of measure, locations, and other transaction details.
Monitor inventory balances and report discrepancies.
Assist in monthly cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
Process approved inventory adjustments.
Support proper FIFO implementation.
Check receiving and issuance documents for completeness and accuracy.
Record received materials and finished goods in the system.
Coordinate with Material Handlers regarding actual material movements.
Ensure materials issued to Production are properly documented and recorded.
Monitor unrecorded or incomplete transactions.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments and delivery schedules.
Prepare and maintain shipping and receiving documents.
Monitor shipment and delivery status.
Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, Logistics Staff, and concerned departments.
Report and escalate shipment delays, shortages, damages, or other issues.
Record finished goods receipts, transfers, and dispatch transactions.
Verify dispatch quantities against approved documents.
Coordinate with Logistics and Warehouse personnel to ensure goods are ready for shipment.
Ensure dispatched inventory is properly deducted from the system.
Maintain organized and complete warehouse and logistics records.
Ensure transactions are supported by approved documents.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and logistics reports.
Prepare inventory movement, cycle count, discrepancy, and shipment reports.
Ensure reports are accurate and submitted on time.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Production, Planning, Procurement, and other concerned departments.
Provide updates regarding inventory status, shipment schedules, and transaction issues.
Report discrepancies and operational concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Follow company policies and procedures related to warehouse, inventory, logistics, safety, and ERP/WMS.
Maintain proper records and traceability for audit purposes.
Support inventory accuracy and warehouse control activities.
Identify and recommend improvements to warehouse and logistics processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education :
Preferably Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
Required Experience (Years and Area/s) :
Experience or internship in warehouse, inventory, logistics, supply chain, or data processing is an advantage.
