Go Lean Health is seeking a polished Patient Care Communications Specialist to be the voice of the chiropractic clinic, handling calls, texts, scheduling, and patient follow-up with empathy. As a high-volume communicator, you will nurture patient relationships, ensure HIPAA compliance, and support scheduling optimization using MacPractice and related platforms.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent.
• Strong written communication for SMS, email, and patient messages.
• Experience as Virtual Medical Assistant or similar healthcare support role.
• Able to handle high call volume in a fast-paced clinic.
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive with attendance communication.
• Must own a Mac OS device (MacBook, iMac, or Mac mini) and have reliable wired internet.
• Flexible with schedule and willing to work Saturdays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally and promptly.
• Respond to patient texts, voicemails, emails, and fax-related messages in a timely and accurate manner.
• Schedule new patient appointments and collect intake information; manage MacPractice scheduling.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referral opportunities before routine rescheduling requests.
• Conduct follow-up and reactivation outreach for inactive or lapsed patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records, scheduling notes, and communication documentation.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep the provider schedule full and organized.
• De-escalate patient concerns related to scheduling, billing, insurance, or frustrations.
• Know when to listen, gather details, offer a callback, and avoid overload.
• Support missed-call follow-up workflows and communication improvements inside practice tools.
• Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA standards at all times.
