Job Summary
The Villa Manager / Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the resort villas and the Housekeeping Department. This role ensures that all villas, guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation while delivering exceptional guest experiences. The position also manages housekeeping personnel, coordinates with other departments, and ensures the efficient operation of villa services.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of all resort villas and the Housekeeping Department.
- Ensure villas, guest rooms, public areas, and facilities are clean, well-maintained, and ready for guest arrivals.
- Conduct daily inspections of villas and public areas to ensure compliance with resort quality standards.
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff and villa attendants.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Maintenance, Laundry, Food & Beverage, and Security departments to ensure seamless resort operations.
- Monitor room occupancy, arrivals, departures, VIP guests, and special requests.
- Manage housekeeping inventories, including linens, guest amenities, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
- Monitor departmental expenses and implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality.
- Handle guest concerns, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Prepare housekeeping schedules, inventory reports, productivity reports, and other operational documents.
- Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, safety, and resort policies.
- Recommend and implement improvements to housekeeping procedures and villa operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role in a resort or hotel.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Excellent guest service and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of housekeeping operations, inventory management, and resort standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems (preferred).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
