Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in construction with Victoria AU project expertise.
• Knowledge of Australian construction standards and Victoria regulations.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specs with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to work with stakeholders.
• Experience in cost analysis, project planning, and budget management.

Responsibilities

• Preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on project specifications, plans, and blueprints
• Analysing project requirements and determining material quantities, labour costs, and equipment needs
• Liaising with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations
• Reviewing tender documents and contract specifications to ensure comprehensive cost coverage
• Utilising estimating software and tools to generate professional estimate documentation
• Monitoring and tracking actual costs against estimates to identify variances and improve future accuracy
• Preparing bid proposals and quotations for potential clients and projects
• Maintaining detailed records of estimates, historical data, and cost databases for reference and analysis
• Communicating estimate findings and recommendations to senior management and project teams
