Job summary

OpsArmy Careers in the Philippines is seeking an experienced US Tax Accountant (CPA / Enrolled Agent preferred) to provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.

You will investigate and resolve escalated tickets, review reconciliations, and communicate findings clearly using Zendesk and email. This role requires strong accounting expertise, excellent English, and the ability to work US hours (ET).

Qualifications

• Experience with US accounting and taxation is preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills are required.
• Ability to explain complex topics to non-technical customers.
• Experience handling tax notices and customer-facing support is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated tickets, review reconciliations and transactions.
• Assist with tax notices, filing status questions, and tax return inquiries.
• Communicate findings clearly via Zendesk, email, and phone support.
• Document resolutions and identify workflow improvements.
