Cloud Accountant Staffing - Careers in the Philippines seeks a US Accountant to support fast-growing U.S. companies and CPA firms. This full-time IC role offers exclusivity with no other engagements after hire and focuses on accurate, clear financial reporting.

You will close books for U.S. entities, prepare balance sheets, P&Ls, and cash-flow statements, build budgets and forecasts, and participate in client calls to translate numbers into plain English.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of U.S. accounting/bookkeeping experience (public practice or industry).
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online with clean documented workflows.
• Strong English communication, written and spoken, client-facing.
• CPA or non-CPA candidates welcome.
• Ownership mentality: organized, deadline-driven, able to manage multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely balance sheets, P&Ls, and cash-flow statements with variance analysis and plain-English insights.
• Build budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow projections; monitor burn and runway for SMB clients.
• Join client calls, translate financials into plain English, and proactively flag risks and opportunities.
• Manage books end-to-end: AP/AR, month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and general ledger.
• Reconcile bank, credit card, merchant, and loan accounts; ensure audit-ready documentation.
