Job summary

RecruitNest Consulting is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our growing finance team and support US-based clients with high-quality accounting services.

In this role you will manage month-end close, prepare financial reports, maintain accurate records, and assist with tax-related tasks using cloud accounting systems.

Candidates should have 3+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Accountancy, and strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as accountant, bookkeeper, or financial analyst.
• CPA, CMA, CA, or related certification preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage or similar software.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, month-end close, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure timely reporting.
• Process accounts payable and ensure timely payments.
• Track and file 1099 forms in compliance with tax regulations.
• Assist with tax season tasks and related accounting activities.
• Monitor financial transactions for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Interpret financial data and identify issues or improvement opportunities.
• Communicate financial information clearly with clients and internal teams.
