Job summary

RecruitNest Consulting is seeking an experienced Accountant to join a growing finance team supporting US-based clients. You will manage month-end close, prepare financial reports, maintain records, and assist with tax-related tasks using cloud-based accounting systems.

The role requires 3+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Accountancy or related field, and familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or Sage. This is a fully remote opportunity based in Metro Manila with a US shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA/CMA/CA or similar certification preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or Sage.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar accounting systems.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure timely reporting.
• Process and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payments per client requirements.
• Track, prepare, and submit 1099 forms in compliance with tax regulations.
• Provide support during tax season and assist with tax-related accounting activities.
• Monitor and analyze financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Interpret financial data and identify accounting issues or improvement opportunities.
• Communicate financial information clearly with clients and internal teams.
