Job summary

Cedar Network and Data Solution is seeking a lead generation specialist to support a UK-based insurance team focused on haulage and transport insurance. You will mainly make outbound calls, qualify opportunities, and keep CRM records up to date.

Excellent spoken English is essential; you’ll engage with UK business owners and senior decision-makers, handle objections, and arrange follow-ups. This is a remote role with training provided and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English and clear pronunciation.
• Strong B2B cold-calling experience.
• Experience in telesales, telemarketing, appointment setting or lead generation.
• Confidence speaking with UK business owners and senior decision-makers.
• Strong listening and questioning skills.
• Ability to handle rejection and objections professionally.
• Previous CRM experience.
• Ability to research businesses using Google and LinkedIn.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to UK haulage and transport companies.
• Speak with business owners, directors and decision-makers.
• Identify when current insurance is due for renewal.
• Qualify opportunities for the UK insurance team.
• Handle objections professionally and arrange follow-ups.
• Research new prospects using Google and LinkedIn.
• Maintain accurate prospect and renewal information in the CRM.
• Record calls, notes and outcomes in the CRM.
• Provide regular activity and lead-generation reports.
