This role ensures safe, timely, and cost-effective movement of project cargo, heavy equipment, and materials in alignment with company policies and regulations.

The ideal candidate will lead dispatchers and drivers, optimize routes, monitor costs and performance, and maintain compliant documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• 3–5 years in trucking, fleet or dispatch management.
• Experience with project cargo or heavy equipment is a plus.

Job Description

The Rigging Corporation is seeking an experienced and results-driven Trucking and Dispatch Manager to oversee trucking operations, vehicle dispatching, fleet utilization, and transportation scheduling. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, timely, and cost-effective movement of project cargo, heavy equipment, and other materials while maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily trucking, dispatching, and fleet operations.
• Plan and coordinate truck assignments, delivery schedules, routes, and driver availability.
• Ensure the timely and safe transportation of cargo, heavy equipment, and project materials.
• Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and operating costs.
• Supervise dispatchers, drivers, and other trucking personnel to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate with project managers, logistics personnel, clients, and other departments regarding transportation requirements.
• Monitor vehicle and shipment status and promptly resolve delays, breakdowns, and other operational issues.
• Ensure that trucks, drivers, and transport documents comply with applicable regulations and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, trip tickets, delivery receipts, fuel expenses, and fleet performance.
• Develop and implement procedures to improve dispatch efficiency, fleet productivity, and transportation cost control.
• Conduct regular performance monitoring and prepare operational reports for management.
• Ensure proper implementation of safety protocols and preventive maintenance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in trucking, fleet management, dispatch operations, or logistics, preferably with supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in project cargo, heavy equipment transportation, or oversized cargo logistics is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of fleet operations, route planning, vehicle maintenance, and transportation documentation.
• Familiarity with Philippine traffic and transportation regulations and applicable road safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and fleet or dispatch management systems.
• Able to manage multiple transport requirements and respond effectively to time-sensitive operational issues.
• Willing to work flexible hours when required by project schedules and dispatch operations.
