4. Market Research
- Identifying industries or businesses that need trucking solutions.
- Analyzing competition and pricing trends.
■ Transportation Coordination:
1. Dispatching & Scheduling
- Experience in assigning trips, tracking vehicle availability, and planning routes.
2. Fleet & Driver Coordination
- Monitoring driver performance and truck maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring proper documentation (delivery receipts, trip logs, permits).
3. Problem Solving & Communication
- Handling delays, route issues, or customer complaints.
- Coordinating with clients for delivery updates.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Preparing trip manifests, delivery reports, and client billing.
- Knowledge of LTFRB, LTO, or DTI logistics compliance (helpful but optional).
5. Subcontractor recruitment
- Source and recruit subcontractor partners (individual truck owners or small fleet operators).
- Conduct initial screening, interviews, and vehicle inspections.
- Verify documentation: OR/CR, driver’s license, permits, and business registration.
- Onboard and orient subcontractors on company policies, SOPs, and expectations.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing partners to ensure availability and satisfaction.
- Coordinate with operations and dispatch for truck deployment and route planning.
- Maintain a database of qualified and standby subcontractors per region or vehicle type.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, compliance, and resolve concerns as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field.
- Proven leadership skills in managing transport teams or trucking operations.
- Strong knowledge of route planning, dispatch systems, and GPS tracking tools.
- Familiarity with Philippine transport laws and regulations (e.g., LTFRB, LTO).
- Good communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Must be analytical, proactive, and goal-oriented.
- Willing to work extended hours and conduct field visits.
