About the role

Dermesse Inc. is seeking a dedicated Training Officer to join our Human Resources & Recruitment team. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila. As Training Officer, you will play a vital role in designing, developing and delivering training programmes that enhance employee capabilities and drive organisational performance. This position is instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development across Dermesse Inc., ensuring our workforce remains equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.

What you\'ll be doing

• Design and develop comprehensive training programs tailored to meet the learning needs of various departments and employee levels
• Deliver engaging and effective training sessions using varied methodologies, including classroom instruction, online modules and workshops
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify skills gaps and recommend appropriate learning interventions
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments and performance metrics
• Maintain and update training materials, resources and learning management systems to ensure current and relevant content
• Collaborate with department managers to understand specific training requirements and customize solutions accordingly
• Organize and coordinate training schedules, venues and logistics to ensure smooth program delivery
• Monitor participant progress and provide ongoing support to facilitate knowledge retention and application
• Prepare training reports and documentation to track program outcomes and employee development
• Stay current with training trends, best practices and new learning technologies to continuously improve our offerings

What we\'re looking for

• Qualification in Human Resources, Training & Development, Education, Business Administration or a related field
• Proven experience working as a Training Officer, Instructional Designer, Learning & Development Specialist or similar role within a professional environment
• Strong knowledge of learning principles, training methodologies and instructional design
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences
• Proficiency in using learning management systems and training delivery platforms
• Competency in training needs analysis and program evaluation techniques
• Ability to develop training content and materials using Microsoft Office applications and other relevant tools
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Flexible approach to learning and willingness to adapt training methods to different audiences and contexts
• Experience in conducting selling skills and techniques training for sales personnel
• Experience in the beauty, cosmetics, healthcare or retail industry would be advantageous
