Job Summary:

The Training Officer is responsible for planning and conducting training programs for employees handling the Pens and Personal Care categories. The role focuses on product knowledge, customer service, selling skills, and proper product presentation to help the team deliver better customer experiences and achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct product training for Pens and Personal Care products, including product features, benefits, proper usage, and selling points.
• Develop and deliver training programs for Sales Assistants, Fragrance Consultants, and other relevant employees.
• Provide training on customer service, selling techniques, product recommendation, and handling customer concerns.
• Coordinate with Brand and Operations teams to ensure training materials and product information are accurate and updated.
• Conduct product training for newly hired Sales Assistants and Fragrance Consultants.
• Conduct refresher training and coaching based on identified knowledge or performance gaps.
• Visit stores regularly to observe product knowledge, selling skills, and compliance with brand standards.
• Assess employees’ product knowledge and training effectiveness through quizzes, activities, and practical assessments.
• Monitor and maintain training records, attendance, and assessment results.
• Gather feedback from trainees and managers to improve training programs.
• Assist in preparing training materials, presentations, product guides, and other learning materials.
• Stay updated on new products, promotions, brand updates, and industry trends relevant to Pens and Personal Care.
• Support product launches and other business activities that require product or selling training.
• Perform other training-related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• With atleast 3 years related experience
• Experience in pens, personal care, beauty, fragrance, or other retail products is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of training and facilitation techniques.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Able to create simple and engaging training materials.
• Willing to conduct store visits and travel when needed.
• Organized, proactive, and able to work with different teams.
