The Trade Marketing Manager directs and leads the Trade Marketing team in translating sales and product marketing strategies into actionable trade initiatives that drive volume, contribution margins, market share, brand equity, and customer loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Oversees trade marketing plans and activations across direct and dealer channels—managing the 5 Ps (Product, Packaging, Price, Placement, Promotion) while driving performance monitoring, campaign evaluation, and corrective action plans to achieve business targets.
- Leads the end-to-end development, execution, and post-promotion analysis of channel trade plans, leveraging internal and external data to analyze supply-demand dynamics, address business issues, and maximize the return on sales support funds.
- Partners with Sales and Product Marketing teams to execute trade-facing events, manage new product rollouts, and deploy customized ranging guides, POP materials, and merchandising units across targeted channels.
- Defines nationwide standards for ranging, visibility, and customer communication, while conducting regular field audits to gather customer feedback, monitor market conditions, and integrate industry best practices.
- Directs and mentors team members through structured performance management, continuous coaching, recognition, succession planning, and individual development plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in marketing program development, with expertise in integrated planning.
- Demonstrates proficiency in Category Management, Customer Management, Space Management, and Price & Promotion Management.
