PAPH TRAVEL AND TOURS is seeking a Ticket Reservation Officer to manage airline ticket procurement, reservations, and coordination for travel packages. You will work with travel agents, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure accurate records and timely approvals.
The role requires 1-2 years in ticketing or reservations, with GDS proficiency preferred. Strong attention to detail, communication, and time management are essential. This is an onsite position in Quezon City within Metro Manila.
The Ticket Reservation Officer is responsible for managing the procurement and reservation of airline tickets to ensure competitive pricing and availability for travel packages. This role involves coordinating bookings, securing approvals, and maintaining accurate records to support the overall travel operations of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Procure airline tickets in advance to secure competitive pricing and ensure availability for clients.
Confirm that all travel dates are booked or reserved with appropriate airline tickets.
Seek approval for ticket prices to ensure they align with the budget of tour packages.
Propose new travel destinations based on market trends and client interests.
Ensure timely payment for airline tickets to avoid cancellations and maintain good relationships with airlines.
Provide reports on approved ticket prices, including summaries of re-quotation and repricing activities.
Maintain accurate records of all ticket purchases, reservations, and client communications.
Collaborate with travel agents, suppliers, and other departments to streamline the ticketing process.
Stay updated on airline policies, promotions, and pricing strategies to inform decision-making.
Assist in addressing any issues or discrepancies related to ticket reservations and client inquiries.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is often preferred but not required.
1-2 years of experience in ticketing or reservations.
Proficiency in GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
Work Schedule: FULL ONSITE - 6 days a week | Shifting Schedule (No Night Shift)
