Job description

Responsibilities

• The Reservations Associate processes booking requests for airfare, hotel accommodation, tours, cruises, travel insurance, documentation services, and transportation services for Key and Non-Key Accounts and new accounts that may be passed on by the Sales Department.
• Creates Sales Folder and Transaction Summary; issues international and domestic tickets or coordinates with the Ticketing Specialist on the actual preparation of tickets.
• Provides on-time information to the Sales Department when inquiries or proposals are prepared from inquiries received through emails or walk-ins. Usual required information includes net prices of air tickets, flight availability, and routing options.
• Handles booking requests as endorsed by the Sales Department for new accounts, and thereafter continuously handles these accounts' booking requests.
• Tracks and records all transactions and ensures all inquiries are attended to in a timely manner.
• Coordinates with clients/customers and sales for necessary instructions or changes on the requests.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Tourism, Hospitality or equivalent.
• Must have at least 3-4 years of experience in the travel or tourism industry.
• Knowledgeable in Sabre or other reservations systems.
• Can start ASAP.
• Willing to work in Makati City.
