Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for functional, integration, system, and regression testing.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and DevOps engineers to deliver high-quality solutions and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Test Design & Execution

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to ensure completeness, feasibility, and testability.
• Identify test scenarios, define expected outcomes, and validate application functionality against requirements.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across all supported platforms and environments.

Defect & Release Management

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
• Participate in release planning, risk assessments, and deployment readiness reviews.
• Provide quality assurance sign-offs and recommendations for production releases.

Test Automation

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts for both frontend and backend applications.
• Support automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to improve testing efficiency and reliability.
• Monitor automation effectiveness and recommend improvements to test coverage and execution.
• Generate and communicate test execution reports, metrics, and release recommendations.

Collaboration & Quality Culture

• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, design reviews, and testing activities.
• Promote quality best practices and foster a quality-first mindset across development teams.
• Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives that enhance product quality and team efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test engineering.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management processes.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Knowledge of test automation tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD processes and DevOps practices is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API testing and automated testing frameworks.
