ACCION LABS PHILIPPINES, INC. is hiring a QA Automation Engineer to ensure high-quality software through manual and automated testing in a fast-paced environment. The role requires 3+ years in QA and hands-on test automation with web apps, APIs, and databases.

You will design and maintain automated test scripts, validate API responses, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, working with agile teams to improve test coverage and release quality.

Job description

Join our team as a QA Automation Engineer and help us build high-quality, reliable software through both manual and automated testing.

We’re looking for a QA professional with minimum of atleast 3 years of Software Quality Assurance experience and minimum of atleast 3 years of hands-on test automation experience.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites

• Perform functional and automated testing for web applications, APIs, and databases

• Develop automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools

• Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or similar tools

• Validate backend data using SQL

• Integrate and execute automated tests within CI/CD pipelines

• Identify, document, track, and support resolution of software defects

• Collaborate with Developers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and other Agile team members

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, test planning, and release activities

• Help improve test coverage, defect management, and overall software quality

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of atleast3 years of total Software QA experience

• Minimum of atleast 3 years of hands-on Test Automation experience

• Experience with at least one automation framework such as:

  • Selenium WebDriver

  • Playwright

  • Cypress

  • or similar tools

• Programming/scripting experience using Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python

• Hands-on experience with API testing and validating JSON/XML responses, status codes, and headers

• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation using Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Experience with defect management and tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or ALM

Nice to Have

• Cucumber, Behave, or other BDD frameworks

• Page Object Model (POM)

• Docker or containerized testing environments

• Cloud-based testing environments

• JMeter or basic performance/load testing
