White Cloak Technologies, Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated UI, API, and integration tests to ensure application stability, functionality, and overall quality.
You will collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps to implement and enhance automation within CI/CD pipelines and drive ongoing improvements to QA processes and testing strategies across releases.

The QA Automation Test Engineer will design, develop, and execute automated UI, API, and integration tests to ensure application stability, functionality, and overall quality. Working closely with Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps, the role focuses on implementing and improving automation within CI/CD pipelines and driving continuous enhancements to QA processes and testing strategies.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
Build and enhance automation frameworks to improve reusability, scalability, and reliability.
Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects and root causes.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
Conduct regression, smoke, sanity, and data-driven testing to ensure application stability across releases.
Collaborate with developers and product teams during requirement reviews and sprint planning.
Track, document, and report test outcomes and quality metrics.
Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and automation strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in automation testing.
Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium/WebDriver (with a market shift toward Playwright/Cypress).
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Python, or C# for writing automated scripts.
Knowledge of QA methodologies including test planning, risk-based testing, regression strategies, and root-cause analysis.
Experience testing APIs using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
Understanding of CI/CD automation and pipeline integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
ISTQB certifications (Foundation or CTAL-TAE – Test Automation Engineer).
Knowledge of OWASP testing concepts and security testing practices.
Experience with performance testing (JMeter, k6).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools.
