Job summary

Centegra Technology Inc. in Pasig City, Metro Manila, is seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis.

You will deliver on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and repair for client environments, acting as the face of our company and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service. The role requires troubleshooting, diagnostics, basic networking and hardware knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to lift equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical certification or vocational training in electronics, IT support, or a related field.
• Experience as Field Technician or similar hands-on role.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and multimeters.
• Knowledge of basic networking and hardware components.
• Excellent communication and customer-service orientation.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift equipment; valid driver's license.
• Desirable: CompTIA A+ or manufacturer certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of technology equipment and systems at client locations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems efficiently, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks to ensure all equipment operates at optimal levels and minimise downtime.
• Document all service activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job, maintaining accurate service records.
• Communicate technical information clearly to clients, explaining issues and solutions in an understandable manner.
• Collaborate with the support team and management to escape complex technical issues when necessary.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, representing Centegra Technology Inc. positively at all client sites.
• Transport equipment and tools safely between job sites and maintain a well-organised vehicle inventory.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations whilst performing field work.
• Respond to service calls and emergency requests within agreed timeframes.

What we're looking for

• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to solve problems independently and systematically

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, multimeters, and other standard technical equipment

• Knowledge of basic networking, hardware components, and system configuration

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship

• Physical fitness and ability to lift equipment and work in various environments

• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation

• Professional demeanour and customer service orientation

• Preferably, experience with specific technology platforms or equipment relevant to Centegra Technology Inc.'s services

• Desirable: certifications such as CompTIA A+, or manufacturer-specific technical certifications
