Job summary

FEU Institute of Technology seeks an IT support specialist to assist students, faculty, and staff with computer resources. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software, maintaining SOP-based environments, and ensuring lab readiness. On-site work is required, with opportunities to work across campus computer resources.

Candidates should have 1–2 years IT experience, strong OS knowledge (Windows/macOS/Linux), SQL skills, and familiarity with antivirus tools and productivity suites.

Qualifications

• BS Computer Science/Information Technology or BS Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of IT-related tasks (computer and networking).
• Experience in setting up and troubleshooting PC hardware and mobile/handheld computers.
• Hands-on SOP/Standard Operating Environment implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, Linux, desktop productivity tools, antivirus and utilities.
• Experience with SQL programming and relational databases.
• IT help desk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides support and assistance to students, faculty members and associates on concerns related to computer resources.
• Willing to work on-site and respond to IT issues as they arise.
• Assist in maintenance and improvement of computer labs and resources.

BS Computer Science/Information Technology or BS Computer Engineering or equivalent

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have at least 1 - 2 years of IT-related tasks (computer and networking)
• Must have experience in setting up and troubleshooting PC hardware and mobile/handheld computers
• Must have hands-on experience in Standard Operating Environment implementation.
• Must have strong working technical knowledge on desktop operating systems (MS Windows/Macintosh/Linux), desktop productivity tools, Anti-virus and computer utilities)
• Experience with SQL programming preferred
• Knowledgeable in relational database
• Experience with IT help desk support preferred
