Job summary

TechGlobal Data Center, Inc is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive revenue growth by promoting and selling our technical products and data center services. You will be the primary contact, understand client needs, and deliver tailored solutions with strong pre-sales involvement.

You will advise on connectivity and data center requirements, collaborate with sales and marketing, and prepare proposals while staying current on cybersecurity, cloud, network, and data center trends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in technology sales, preferably B2B
• Proven track record in selling complex technology or infrastructure solutions
• Experience selling data center solutions or related infrastructure is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Identify and contact potential clients for the company's products or services.
• Provide technical pre-sales support to various entities, including potential customers, existing customers, partners, and resellers.
• Engage with customers as a trusted advisor, understanding their technical and business challenges, and clearly communicating these to the sales team.
• Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to ensure designs meet customer needs.
• Provide information about products or services to potential clients, including demonstrations of new products or services.
• Consult with customers to determine their needs and preferences, helping them select the right products or services.
• Prepare proposals for new projects and negotiate prices with clients.
• Create and complete cost worksheets for proposals.
• Stay up-to-date on technology trends in Cybersecurity, cloud, network, and data center services.
• Explain complex technical information to customers in an easily understandable way.
• Follow up with customers and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Keep customers informed about new technological products.
