Job summary

Sutherland, a global technology leader, is seeking a Pre-Sales Technical Consultant to support Sales Specialists and cybersecurity product teams. This role blends customer service, technical know-how, and solution selling for international clients.

You will demonstrate products, run installations and config guidance, document activities in Salesforce, and collaborate with product, marketing, and Sales to improve content and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of customer service experience supporting technical accounts.
• At least 3-6 months of sales, inside sales, or pre-sales experience, preferably within a BPO or technology environment.
• Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
• Experience handling technical troubleshooting, product support, or technical sales inquiries is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support to a global team of Sales Specialists through voice, email, and chat channels.
• Conduct product demonstrations and address technical inquiries from prospective customers.
• Assist clients with product installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and "how-to" inquiries using available knowledge base resources.
• Accurately document pre-sales activities and customer interactions in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to elevate and resolve complex technical concerns.
• Act as the voice of the customer by sharing valuable feedback with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve product documentation and knowledge base content to enhance customer experience.
• Support customer decision‑making by demonstrating product value and technical capabilities.
