Job summary

MCI Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a buildings and facilities management professional to plan, monitor, and update maintenance programmes for building projects.

You will review preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure quality, and lead investigations into fault calls. The role requires 4–5 years of relevant experience and a Specialist Certificate in Building Condition Assessment, with the ability to coordinate contractors and manage activities independently.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of relevant working experience in building/facilities management.
• Specialist Certificate in Building Condition Assessment is required.
• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Building/Facilities Management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, monitor and update infrastructure maintenance programmes and project schedules.
• Review preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure quality standards.
• Lead investigations in response to fault calls and maintenance issues.
• Review maintenance procedures, documentation and work schedules.
• Monitor and track consumable and non-consumable items.
• Review risk assessments per WSH and QEMS standards.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance time, cost and quality.
• Coordinate and manage contractors for maintenance and projects.
• Draft contract specifications for quotations and tender exercises.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Salary: S$3,000 – S$3,500 per month

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, monitor and update infrastructure maintenance programmes and project schedules.

• Review and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.

• Lead technical investigations in response to fault calls and maintenance issues.

• Review maintenance procedures, documentation and work schedules.

• Monitor and track consumable and non-consumable items.

• Review risk assessments in accordance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and Quality & Environmental Management System (QEMS) standards.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve time, cost and quality management.

• Support the implementation of smart facilities management technologies and solutions.

• Coordinate and manage contractors for maintenance and project works.

• Assist in preparing annual budgets and monitoring expenditure for maintenance and project works.

• Draft contract specifications for quotation and tender exercises.

Job Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma in Building, Facilities Management or a related field.

• 4–5 years of relevant working experience.

• Specialist Certificate in Building Condition Assessment is required.

• Able to coordinate contractors and manage maintenance-related activities independently.
