Job summary

BES Technology Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join our hands-on team. You will perform day-to-day maintenance, troubleshoot building systems, and repair mechanical equipment to keep facilities safe, reliable, and efficient.

The role requires an ITE in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical engineering with 1–2 years of experience, willingness to standby 24/7, and willingness to travel to different sites.

Qualifications

• ITE in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• IT System & Networking experience preferred.
• Willing to perform standby duty during after-office hours (24/7).
• Willingness to travel to different sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replaced.
• Assist with coordination to ensure work meets quality and safety standards.
• Identify potential issues and recommend preventative measures to minimise downtime.

About the role

We are seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join BES Technology Pte Ltd in a full-time capacity, based around Singapore. This is a hands-on technical role that plays a crucial part in ensuring the optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency of building systems and infrastructure. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various building services and mechanical systems. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning environment for all building occupants.

What you'll be doing

• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems

• Responding promptly to maintenance requests and service calls, diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs

• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs undertaken, and parts replaced

• Assisting with the coordination and ensuring work meets quality and safety standards

• Identifying potential issues and recommending preventative measures to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan

• Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations whilst carrying out maintenance tasks

• Collaborating with other technicians and support staff to complete maintenance projects efficiently
