Job summary

Ascendion in Taguig, Philippines seeks a senior delivery manager to lead project delivery across a portfolio, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality are met. You will develop detailed plans, align resources, and track progress for timely execution.

You will identify risks, manage dependencies, and drive maturity in delivery frameworks, applying Scrum, Waterfall, or SAFe as appropriate to projects of varying scale.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years delivering complex projects across portfolios
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors
• Strong ability to define success metrics and governance

Responsibilities

• Lead overall delivery management of projects within the portfolio, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Develop and manage detailed project plans and timelines, aligning resources and tracking progress to ensure timely execution
• Identify, monitor, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and critical paths, proactively devising contingency plans and resolving crises
• Champion Agile and hybrid delivery practices, applying Scrum, Waterfall, or SAFe frameworks as appropriate
• Define and finalize project scope, goals, and success metrics in collaboration with business units, stakeholders, and executive sponsors
• Establish and enforce governance functions in accordance with enterprise policies, practices, and PMO standards

About the role

Optimize resource utilization and make decisions on priorities, scope, and allocation appropriate to project scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall delivery management of projects within the portfolio, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
• Develop and manage detailed project plans and timelines, aligning resources and tracking progress to ensure timely execution
• Optimize resource utilization and make decisions on priorities, scope, and allocation appropriate to project scale
• Identify, monitor, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and critical paths, proactively devising contingency plans and resolving crises
• Clear blockers for SMEs and technical teams to ensure smooth delivery of project activities
• Facilitate retrospectives and post-mortems to capture lessons learned and drive organizational maturity in delivery frameworks
• Champion Agile and hybrid delivery practices, applying Scrum, Waterfall, or SAFe frameworks as appropriate
• Define and finalize project scope, goals, and success metrics in collaboration with business units, stakeholders, and executive sponsors
• Establish and enforce governance functions in accordance with enterprise policies, practices, and PMO standards
• Monitor and manage project expenses against cost baselines, with senior roles owning budget management and vendor negotiations
