Job summary

Information Professionals, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead multi-technology projects within the Solutions Delivery Department. The role focuses on staffing, coordinating activities across sections, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of complex software projects.

You will collaborate with architecture, QA, and vendor teams, review plans and documentation, and drive development lead activities. Strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related course.
• Expertise in Technical Delivery Management, Java, SDLC, and Agile methodology.
• Strong track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to communicate with clients, product owners, and company leaders.
• Skilled at identifying project issues early and resolving them quickly.

Responsibilities

• Staff projects with appropriate numbers and skills across the Delivery Department.
• Coordinate tasks across sections to ensure schedule and budget adherence.
• Review detailed plans and budgets for application system development with Delivery Managers.
• Collaborate with Business Relationship Management for initial business requirements assessment.
• Work with Quality Assurance to ensure defects are fixed within turnaround times.
• Consult with Enterprise Architecture and Solutions teams on standards and direction.
• Participate in vendor system/solution evaluation and selection.
• Review and approve project-related documentation.
• Perform development lead functions including design reviews, code inspections, and defect management.
• Undertake additional related tasks as assigned.

Job description

Short Description: Works under the general direction & supervision of the Solutions Delivery Department Head and is responsible for the overall delivery of multi-technology and multi-platform solutions. He ensures that technical deliverables are completed consistently, on-time and of quality across departments within the Capability and Delivery Division. Job description:

• Works with concerned units within CDD in ensuring projects are properly staffed in terms of numbers and skills.

• Works with development lead and coordinates the tasks of the different sections to ensure that activities progress on schedule and within the prescribed budget.

• Works with the delivery managers to review detailed plans and budget for application system development.

• Collaborates with Business Relationship Management Requirements Development Department for the initial assessment of business requirements.

• Works with the Quality Assurance division in making sure defects are fixed within the agreed turnaround time.

• Consults with Enterprise Architecture Team and Solutions team on technology standards and architecture direction.

• Participates in the evaluation and selection of vendor systems or solution.

• Reviews and approves project related documentation.

• Performs development lead functions including technical design review, source code inspection and defect management. The development lead functions may extend to projects with either internal or external developers.

• Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
