Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and support the organization’s IT infrastructure and enterprise systems in an enterprise environment. You will ensure availability, security, performance, and reliability across servers, networks, and data center services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in systems administration or IT infrastructure.
• Strong experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience with backup, recovery, and storage management.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and maintain IT infrastructure including servers and network environments.
• Perform server administration: user/group management, permissions, print services, and logging.
• Monitor data center health and ensure high availability of critical systems.
• Configure, deploy, test, and maintain servers, storage, and virtualization.
• Manage backup, recovery, storage, and remote replication for business continuity.
• Apply security updates and configurations to maintain security and stability.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and support IT teams.
• Support cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, and related projects.
• Conduct routine system audits and meet operational requirements.
• Create and maintain service transition documentation for operations.
• Collaborate with teams, vendors, and partners to implement solutions.
